General Process

Pre-arrival: 1 month

Post-arrival: 2 weeks to 1 month

Primary Employee Documents

·        Passport (all pages)

·        CV/Resume (5 years)

·        Information on residential address in Norway

·        Employer References

·        UDI document checklist

·        POA

·        Educational Certificates

Primary Employer Documents

·        Offer of Employment

·        Documentation showing that the pay offered meets the requirements

Validity

Duration can be from 1 to 3 years, depending on the employment contract. Can be renewed.

Deregistration

The immigration authority should be informed, and the work/residence card returned. The tax authority and the national registry should be informed that the employee is leaving the country.
