Halloween may feel a little like it’s all tricks and no treats this year, and if there’s something strange in your neighborhood, you can call on Aires to deliver Halloween songs. We’ve compiled a list of our favorite Halloween tunes for you to play as a background to your zoom costume party, socially distant trick-or-treating, or just accompanying your favorite witch’s brew this weekend. Whether you’re celebrating with copious amounts of candy, watching a slew of spooky flicks, or howling at the moon – we’ve got you covered.

We asked our Sales, Marketing, and Consulting teams to list their favorite Halloween songs, and the results are below. You can enjoy the playlist on Spotify. Let us know if we missed out on any of your favorites!

Thriller – Michael Jackson: Halloween is my favorite day of the year and Thriller by Michael Jackson is my favorite Halloween song. Music Television (MTV) had only been on for a little over a year and the Thriller video was so cool to watch and Michael’s dance moves were awesome. Reminds me of my Junior year in college when the video was released.” – Kari Hatfield, Account Executive

I Want Candy – Bow Wow Wow: “I have an uncontrollable sweet tooth!” – Tyler Burns, Account Executive

I Put a Spell on You – Screamin' Jay Hawkins: “This song made its way on to my personal Halloween party playlist years ago. One of my favorite Halloween movies is Hocus Pocus. If you’re familiar with this classic, the Sanderson Sisters' rendition is a must listen as well!” – Laura Kennedy, Senior Marketing Coordinator

Spooky – Atlanta Rhythm Section:         “Yacht Rock can be spooky, too!” – Steve Alverson, Account Executive

Werewolves of London – Warren Zevon: “The song is fun and whimsical and just slightly spooky, similar to Halloween. Personally, I find nothing more terrifying than the thought of a werewolf with perfect hair drinking a piña colada at Trader Vic’s.” – Michael Midgley, Account Executive

Little Ghost – The White Stripes: “A quirky little Halloween-themed tune that makes me smile every time I hear it.” – Chuck Urishko, Proposal Writer

Bad Moon Rising – Creedence Clearwater Revival: “This really isn’t too much of a Halloween song, but my kids thought this was about Halloween when they were little and loved to sing it. They thought the “bad” moon brought all of the witches and ghosts out to scare everyone (too many Goosebumps books/movies!) – Stacy Baker, Manager, Consulting Services

Witchcraft – Frank Sinatra: "I’m more of a movie person than a music person. One of my favorites is Bell, Book and Candle. This film is about a witch, played by Kim Novak, who casts a spell on Jimmy Stewart's character. So, with witchcraft in mind … I remembered this song by Frank Sinatra. So classic and cool.” – Sheila McKell, Director, Marketing

Somebody’s Watching Me – Rockwell: “I always loved the Michael Jackson chorus from this song … plus as a child, I was afraid of being home alone, and this song helped me turn fear into a good melody. Sometimes I still get scared when I’m home alone and I hear noises – I still think of this song!” – Romayne Dillner, Senior Policy Consultant

Strange Brew – Cream: “I love the dreamy, spooky vibe to this perfect Halloween song. It's hypnotic, as if you have sipped the strange brew! As a lover of Halloween and general spookiness, I could listen to this song year-round (and do).” – Lauren McKenna, Proposal Writer

Bewitched TV Show Theme Song: “So, I’m dating myself, but this was the first Halloween song that I heard when I was 5 years old, and we had just relocated to the USA from Malaysia. I didn’t know what Halloween was, as we never celebrated it in Malaysia … until I watched the Halloween episode on ‘Bewitched.’ So, here’s the theme to Bewitched is part of my first relocation experience.” – Sheri Sinaga, Account Executive

Black Magic Woman – Santana: “A classic all around and perfect for Halloween.” – Tony Dougherty, Senior Account Executive

(Don't Fear) The Reaper – Blue Öyster Cult: “More cowbell and a spooky theme? Yes please! This is a fun classic for the season!” – Angela Gomez, Director of Sales

Monster Mash – Bobby “Boris Pickett: “I like this song because my kids and I use to sing it all during Halloween season. I really miss those days. I used to dance for them while singing. They might have nightmares of it, but I loved that time in our life.” – Pam Dunleavy, Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Time Warp – The Rocky Horror Picture Show Original Cast: “The Rocky Horror Picture Show is everything I love about Halloween. It’s just a little scary, a whole lot campy, and all around very weird. This song has always been my favorite from the film, and it recreates that “is this real” feeling of Halloween so well.” – Kirk Gipson, Manager, Proposals
