January 26, 2015 - The New York and New Jersey Port Authority has released a winter weather advisory announcing that the Port of New York and New Jersey marine terminals will close today, Monday, January 26, at 3:00 PM and remain closed Tuesday, January 27, due to winter storm Juno. As the storm progresses, the port will advise the status of port operations for the rest of the week.
Gale force winds and snow accumulation is expected to range from 2 to 2 ½ feet at the ports of New York and New Jersey.
Air cargo carriers in the New York/New Jersey area and along the East Coast have also announced delays or cancelled service pending weather condition evaluations.
